This entire week we have talked about class and culture and what is are the differences and the similarities. After the discussions we had as a class, I came to the realization class and culture are two very different things. I think that class is the status that people are in, where as I think that culture are the customs, traditions, and beliefs that define who a person is and gives insight to their character. Culture plays a bigger role on who we are and how we act and class does. I think that culture sets the boundaries for our life and I think that as we grow older and experience more things in life, we learn about other customs and cultures and we like them; and as a result, we adopt different traditions and apply them into our own lives and families. Class is determined on more of a worldly level. You can be split into classes based on different things like wealth or possessions. Culture is the way people think and act established from their parents or the environment those people were raised in.
